1. Personal data we collect

• Identity and contact data: your name, mobile number, and email address (where provided), collected when you create an account or submit an enquiry.
• Enquiry and preference data: the project, unit type, service category, preferred visit date/time, and any free-text message you submit when contacting a Listing Party or service partner.
• Account and usage data: saved properties, comparisons, search filters, and pages viewed, used to operate and personalize the Platform.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser identifiers, and similar data collected automatically for security, fraud prevention, and analytics.
• Verification data: OTP verification records associated with your mobile number, used solely to authenticate your account.

2. Purpose and legal basis for processing

We process your Personal Data on the basis of your consent, given at the point of account creation or enquiry submission, for the following specified purposes: (a) operating your account and the features you use; (b) transmitting your enquiry to the relevant Listing Party or service partner so they may respond to you; (c) authenticating your identity via OTP; (d) improving, securing, and maintaining the Platform; (e) detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity; and (f) complying with our legal obligations, including responding to lawful requests from government or regulatory authorities. We do not process your Personal Data for any purpose beyond those for which you have given consent, and will seek fresh consent before processing it for a materially different purpose.

3. How we share your personal data

We do not sell your Personal Data to data brokers or advertisers. We share Personal Data only as follows:

• With the Listing Party or service partner you contact: when you submit an enquiry about a specific project or register interest in a service, your name, mobile number, email (where provided), and enquiry details are disclosed to that specific Listing Party or service partner for the sole purpose of enabling them to respond to you. This disclosure is the core, expected function of submitting an enquiry.
• With service providers acting on our behalf: including cloud hosting, SMS/OTP delivery, and bot-verification providers, bound by contractual obligations to process Personal Data only on our instructions and for the purposes stated in this Policy.
• Where required by law: in response to a valid legal process, court order, or lawful request from a government or regulatory authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ataraxy Solutions, our users, or the public.

4. Consent for marketing and follow-up communication

By submitting an enquiry, you expressly consent to being contacted by the relevant Listing Party, service partner, and Ataraxy Solutions via phone call, SMS, WhatsApp, or email regarding that enquiry, including where your number is registered on the National Customer Preference Register maintained under TRAI regulations, to the extent this express consent permits such contact under applicable law. You may withdraw this consent at any time, on a prospective basis, by writing to us at the contact details in Section 12; withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal, nor will it entitle you to a refund or reversal of any enquiry already transmitted to a Listing Party or service partner.

5. Data retention

We retain your Personal Data for as long as your account remains active and for such further period as is reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, comply with our legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Where you withdraw consent or request erasure under Section 6, we will erase your Personal Data unless retention is required to comply with a legal obligation.

6. Your rights as a Data Principal

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

• Access a summary of the Personal Data we hold about you and the processing activities undertaken.
• Correction and completion of inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data, available directly from My Account or by writing to us.
• Erasure of your Personal Data where it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected, subject to our legal retention obligations.
• Withdraw consent at any time, with the same ease with which it was given, as described in Section 4.
• Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
• Grievance redressal — you may raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer (Section 12); if unresolved within the timeline prescribed by law, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page, which initiates erasure of your account data subject to the retention exceptions above.

7. Data security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational security safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Personal Data processed, including encrypted transmission (TLS), access controls, and OTP-based authentication, in line with reasonable security practices under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; while we take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security, and you acknowledge this inherent limitation.

8. Data breach notification

In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to affect you, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected Data Principals in the manner and timeline prescribed under the DPDP Act and its rules.

9. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember your preferences, and understand usage patterns for analytics purposes. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features.

10. Children's data

The Platform is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected Personal Data from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where feasible, notified to registered users. Your continued use of the Platform after a revision takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

13. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the dispute resolution and jurisdiction provisions set out in Sections 16 and 17 of our Terms of Use.
