The case for buying in a project's first phase
Developers price early phases lower than later ones, and it is worth understanding exactly what that trade actually is before treating it as a simple discount.
What you are genuinely getting
A lower entry price, in exchange for construction-stage risk a later buyer will not carry — timeline uncertainty, and less certainty about how the finished project will actually look and feel.
What tends to get overlooked
Early-phase buyers also get first choice of unit position, floor, and view within the project, which later buyers do not. For projects where location within the site genuinely matters, this is often worth more than the headline price difference.
The honest counterpoint
This is not a universal recommendation. A buyer who needs move-in certainty on a fixed timeline is often better served paying more for a later or ready phase. The right choice depends on your own risk tolerance and timeline, not a blanket rule either way.
